Founded in 1939, NC Products operates in four strategically located sites in Piedmont and Eastern North Carolina. As a manufacturer of precast concrete pipe, manholes, and other related concrete products, the company built its reputation on quality, customer service, and product knowledge.
The original manufacturing plant was built in 1971 and expanded in 1972. The administrative office was built on this site in 1993. Construction was completed in 1998 on a state of the art production facility housing two new Packerhead machines. Concrete pipe for storm drain and sanitary sewer applications are produced by the Packerhead and drycast methods in 30" and larger diameters and lengths of four, eight and twelve feet.
NC Products Vander plants are located off highway 53, southeast of Fayetteville. The original plant, built in 1949, produced pipe on a universal tamper machine. A new circular kiln plant with a Packerhead pipe machine capable of producing concrete storm drain and sanitary sewer pipe was added in 1967.
A second facility was built in 1990 to produce precast concrete manholes and other precast products.
Another plant was acquired in 1985, located on highway 401 North in Fuquay-Varina. This addition to the NC Product Group produces manholes in a variety of sizes and diameters.
